The State Tourism department has earmarked ₹99.98 lakh for transforming the Amboori Kumbichal Kadavu bridge into a visually captivating landmark in the region.
The project has been crafted through a collaborative effort between the Public Works and Tourism departments, in alignment with the State’s design policy.
The overarching objective is to breathe new life into neglected spaces beneath bridges across the State, transforming them into vibrant public spaces that invite community engagement and enjoyment. Kerala Tourism Infrastructure Limited has been designated as the lead agency overseeing this initiative, while the District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC) is responsible for operational supervision and maintenance.
