A person died and eight others were injured when a bus fell off the road, near Bisale village in Sakleshpur taluk of Hasan district in Karnataka, on October 30.
The bus was taking people who were heading to a marriage at Kukke Subrahmanya. It fell off the road as the driver lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a curve. As many as nine persons were injured in the incident. They were shifted to the government hospital at Puttur in Dakshina Kannada district.
Shivaraj, 45, of Vanaguru village in Sakleshpur, died at the hospital.
The injured are under treatment.
Yeslur police have registered a case based on a complaint filed by Subramanya of Vanaguru. The complainant blamed negligence of the driver for the accident.
