After an email bomb threat was sent to 10 locations across Chennai, the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) police on Tuesday carried out searches at multiple prominent sites, including the residences of actor S.V. Shekher, Health and Family Welfare Minister Ma. Subramanian, actor Ajith Kumar, and former Chief Secretary Girija Vaidyanathan.
Searches were also conducted at Sathyamurthy Bhavan, the headquarters of the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee. After thorough searches, the police confirmed that no explosives or suspicious materials were found at any of the locations.
