The 10th edition of the Mysuru Children’s Literature Festival will be held on Sunday (November 23) from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Jagannatha Centre For Art and Culture (JCAC) in the city.
A release said the event, curated by founder and president Shubha Sanjay Urs, will feature author sessions, book releases and activity-based programmes for children.
The festival is being conducted by Mysuru Literature Forum Charitable Trust and Mysuru Book Clubs Charitable Trust. It will be inaugurated by Trishikha Kumari Wadiyar, during which books by four young authors — Akriti Sharath, Aditi Aditya, Ronish Bathija and Chandni Chhabra — will be released.
A series of author interactions will also be held during the festival while post-inauguration sessions will feature Chandini Chhabra’s ‘Go Wild’ from 5.10–5.40 p.m. and Ashok Rajagopalan’s Gajaa MaJaa from 5.45–6.15 p.m. In addition to these, there will be Rangaputtalli’s puppet show from 6.20–7.00 p.m., followed by a short session on robotics by Phaneesh from 7.00–7.15 p.m., the release added.
