The historic SIMMS Memorial Baptist Church of Vizianagaram wore a festive look on Saturday (December 13, 2025) with the beginning of 12-day Christmas celebrations as well as Messiah March in which hundreds of Christian families took part. After offering prayers at the Church, they participated in the holy march which covered G.T. Road, Railway Station, RTC complex, Balaji junction, Fort area, and culminated at the church premises. South India Baptists Association-Vizianagaram district founder and the church secretary R.S. John said that the special prayers in the place of worship would continue till December 25. He said that the Church would take up charitable activities for the next 12 days as part of the festival.
