Nearly 170 kgs of ganja was seized in two different police raids on Friday (November 7, 2025)night, according to police sources on Saturday (November 8).
The Chintapalli police of Alluri Sitarama Raju district seized around 120 kg of dry cannabis and arrested four persons, including a woman, according to police.
The police identified the accused as the native of Tamil Nadu, and caught them while they were transporting the substance in an auto-rickshaw near Antharla junction.
In another incident, the Kasimkota police of Anakapalli district seized around 50 kg of ganja and arrested one person while he was transporting ganja in a car.
