A 19-year-old youth allegedly ended his life over an alleged relationship with a divorced woman at his village in Mudachintalapalli village in Chintamani rural police station limits on Tuesday.
The deceased, identified as Nikhil Kumar, a school dropout, was found dead near a lake bed at Mudachintalapalli village.
His parents filed a complaint alleging that Nikhil might have taken the extreme step unable to bear harassment from the woman he was allegedly in a relationship with.
According to the complaint, Nikhil had an affair with a woman in the village who was divorced and had two children. When the parents got to know about it, they warned Nikhil to stay away. Still, the woman allegedly started forcing Nikhil to continue the relationship and blackmailed him with video and photographs.
Based on the complaint, the police have registered an unnatural death case and are probing further .
