A youth was awarded 20 years imprisonment for sexually assaulting a 4-year-old girl.
According to prosecution, the Kovilpatti All Women Police arrested K. Kaleeswaran, 27, of Kayathar in 2021 for sexually assaulting a 4-year-old girl.
The Special Court for Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act Cases Magistrate Preetha awarded 20 years imprisonment to Kaleeswaran and slapped a fine of ₹10,000 on him on Friday.
