As many as 20,000 people will present excerpts from the Bhagavad Gita to mark the culmination of the State-level Bhagavad Gita Abhiyana, at Allama Prabhu Park, in Shivamogga, on November 30.

Addressing presspersons here on Wednesday, Sonda Swarnavalli Mutt seer Gangadharendra Saraswati Swami said the participants would present shlokas from Chapter 11. The programme would be witnessed by seers of various mutts, dignitaries, including Kerala governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, and elected representatives.

The campaign to familiarise Bhagavad Gita was conducted this year focusing on Shivamogga and it received an impressive response. The campaign had reached more than 16,000 children and 5,200 people, and there were more than 150 lectures as part of the campaign, he said.
