A 22-year-old Bachelor of Design student from Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University was found dead in his hostel room on Thursday evening (November 6, 2025).
The deceased, identified as Parshuram, hailed from Gadwal and was a third-year student residing in the university hostel.
According to Bachupally Inspector Satish Kumar, the incident came to light when Parshuram’s hostelmates knocked on his door in the afternoon but received no response. They alerted the hostel management, who then informed the police. When officers entered the room, they found Parshuram lying lifeless inside. The cause of death remains unclear. Police have informed his family, who are expected to arrive soon to file a formal complaint.
An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
