The International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM), honoured 50 teachers and principals from various schools across Kodagu.
The event was held recently and the IIHM said each of them was nominated by their respective schools in recognition of their contribution and commitment to excellence in the field of teaching, dedication to innovative and inclusive learning, and the influential impact they have had on students.
A release said the event was a celebration of intellectual work and the contributions of teachers that go unrecognised. Suborno Bose, Founder and Chairman, IIHM Worldwide, said education is not just about academics but building humanity, empathy, and responsibility. Teachers not only shape individuals but also shape the future of a nation, he added.
