Three young men died in a road accident in Harugeri town OF Belagavi district on Tuesday.
The three men riding a bike died after an unknown vehicle collided with their bike on the Athani-Gokak Road.
Gajanana Mahadev Wadeyar, Malappa Mallappa Golabhamvi and Mahadev Mallappa Golabhamvi are the deceased bikers. They were riding triples on the same bike.
The police said that the driver of the unknown vehicle escaped without stopping his vehicle at the scene of the accident.
A case has been registered at Harugeri Police Station under under Sections 281, 106(1) BNS and Section 134 along with Section 187 of the Motor Vechicles Act.
