Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Wednesday (February 4, 2026) condoled the death of veteran educationist S.S. Rajagopalan.
In a statement, Mr. Stalin said he was deeply pained by the passing of Rajagopalan. He also recalled Rajagopalan’s academic career, which began as a teacher and later saw him serve as a member of the committee that drafted the Tamil Nadu Uniform System of School Education. He said Mr. Rajagopalan played an instrumental role in the transformation of the education system in the State.
The Chief Minister extended his condolences to the bereaved family members.
