Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurates the Katranai Thoorum Arivu statue at the Marina Beach on Tuesday

An allegorical statue has been added to the collection of statues along the Marina beach front in Chennai. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin unveiled the statue on Tuesday (March 10, 2026); it highlights the significance and impact of education in the State.
At another event held at the Secretariat, the Chief Minister also released a book on century-old trees in Chennai.
