‘Makkalai Thaedi Kaaval’ initiative launched in Tirunelveli

The ‘Makkalai Thaedi Kaaval’ initiative in which the Superintendent of Police would receive petitions directly from the aggrieved public in every Police Sub-Division in the presence of the Inspectors concerned was launched here on Thursday.

While the weekly grievances redressal meeting is organised at the District Police Office on Wednesdays in which the Superintendent of Police would receive petitions from the aggrieved public, who are not satisfied with the solution provided for their complaints by the police concerned, the new initiative has been introduced by Superintendent of Police V. Prassannakumar. This meeting will be organised in every police sub-division at regular intervals.
