Sand Federation submits demands to parties for inclusion in poll manifestos

Members of the State Sand Lorry Owners Federation have submitted their demands to various political parties, seeking their inclusion in election manifestos. The charter of demands includes formation of a welfare board for motor transport workers and owners.

Even as political parties are finalising their poll strategies, the federation has met representatives of various political parties, seeking to incorporate its charter of demands in their election manifestos.
