K. R. Periyakaruppan, Tamilarasi, DMK candidates for Tiruppattur and Manamadurai (SC)

Minister for Cooperation K. R. Periakaruppan for the Tiruppattur constituency and MLA A. Tamilarasi for the Manamadurai (SC) constituency have been announced as the DMK candidates in Sivaganga district.

Mr. Periakaruppan, 67, a native of Aralikkottai near Tiruppattur, joined the DMK Student Wing in 1981. He later evolved as the district representative in 1989, general council member in 1993 and has served as the District Secretary since 1998.
