East Godavari District Collector Kirthi Chekuri announced that a disease diagnostic and toxicology lab for the poultry sector is proposed to be set up in the district.
In a review meeting with the poultry farmers and Animal Husbandry department officials, Ms. Kirthi said that a team will be constituted to study the ‘Namakkal model of Tamil Nadu’ in the poultry sector to deal with the challenges in the East Godavari district.
