A 17-year-old girl died by suicide at home in north Bengaluru’s Hebbal minutes after the second pre-university examination results were announced on Thursday (April 9), the police said.
The deceased has been identified as Tanushree, a resident of Manorayanapalya near Kanakanagar in Hebbal. The incident unfolded between 3.30 p.m. and 4 p.m., according to the police. It came to light when Tanushree’s friend went to her house to check on her after her mobile phone was found to be switched off.
