Aditya, a specialised complex dedicated to the manufacturing of high-speed rail, was inaugurated by Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister for Railways, Information & Broadcasting, and Electronics & Information Technology, on BEML’s Thippasandra campus here on Saturday.

The newly inaugurated Aditya complex is currently designed for the development of coaches for B-28, which is India’s first indigenous high-speed electric bullet trainset. It is designed to run at speeds of up to 280 kmph.
