Tamil Nadu weather: Light rains over isolated places in Ghat districts, south coastal districts from April 26 to May 1

The Regional Meteorological Centre in Chennai has forecast the likelihood of light to moderate rain at isolated places over Western Ghat districts and south coastal districts of Tamil Nadu on Sunday (April 26, 2026). The rest of the State, Puducherry and Karaikal are likely to experience mainly dry weather.

On Monday (April 27), isolated places over the Western Ghat districts, delta districts and south coastal districts of Tamil Nadu and Karaikal area are likely to get light to moderate rains.
