The IMD forecast for the next 36 hours said that there would be a partly cloudy sky, light to moderate rain and thundershowers accompanied by gusty winds (30-40 kmph), likely in isolated places towards the evening and night.

On Thursday, a day after the city received record rainfall for a single day in April, there was a drop in the maximum and minimum temperatures.
According to the IMD observation data taken at 5.30 p.m., Bengaluru city and HAL Airport recorded a maximum of 34° C and 34.1° C, respectively, and a minimum of 18.2° C and 21.6° C, respectively.
