For the first time since the inception of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), its annual conclave ‘Mahanadu’ will be held in SPSR Nellore district from May 27-29, 2026. More than five lakh people are expected to attend the three-day event, said Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development P. Narayana, attributing the scale to the coordinated efforts of local leaders.

Mr. Narayana, along with Nellore Rural MLA K. Sridhar Reddy, MLC B. Ravi Chandra, Chief Minister’s Programme Coordinator M. Satyanarayana Raju, TDP State spokesperson K. Giridhar Reddy, A.P. Wakf Board Chairman Abdul Aziz, TDP State-level leader Jayaram Reddy, and others, visited key locations on Saturday morning to identify a suitable venue.
