The National Democratic Alliance in Puducherry has moved towards the next stage of government formation in the Union Territory after the front secured a clear mandate in the 2026 Assembly elections.
After the results of the elections were declared on Monday, the major partner in the NDA, the All India N. R Congress headed by incumbent Chief Minister N. Rangasamy and its ally Bharatiya Janata Party held separate meetings to elect their respective Legislature Party leaders.
