The water level in Papanasam dam stood at 43.85 feet (the maximum level is 143 feet) with an inflow of 23.38 cusecs and a discharge of 100 cusecs. The level in Manimuthar dam stood at 73.60 feet (the maximum level is 118 feet) with an inflow of 72.77 cusecs and a discharge of 245 cusecs.
