YSRCP leaders and activists stage a novel protest against the hike in petrol and diesel prices in Vijayawada on Monday.

Leaders of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) including Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao, Devineni Avinash along with others staged a unique protest in Vijayawada on Monday. They pulled an autorickshaw in protest against the hike in petrol and diesel prices.
In Krishna district, YSRCP leader Devabhaktuni Chakravarthy organised a padayatra at Tadigadapa criticising the hike in fuel prices. The YSRCP leaders alleged that the BJP – led NDA government increased the fuel prices due to their inability to grapple with the fallout of the West Asia war. They demanded that the hike be rolled back immediately.
