Bobbili MLA Baby Nayana on Sunday (September 13, 2026) said that the government had agreed to establish a dialysis unit at the Bobbili Urban Health Centre, as many patients with kidney ailments were forced to travel to Parvatipuram or Visakhapatnam for treatment. He praised Ambedkar Porata Samithi president Soru Sambayya and other leaders for organising a protest on this serious public issue near the community health centre.

In a press release, he mentioned that Minister of Medical and Health Satya Kumar Yadav had agreed to the establishment of the dialysis centre, assuring that he would follow up on it during his next visit to Amaravati.

Mr. Sambayya thanked the legislator and noted that many poor patients were forgoing dialysis because they were unable to travel long distances for treatment.
