Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Kottakkal, won the overall championship at the CBSE science and skill festival, Synergy ’26, organised by the Malappuram Sahodaya School Complex at Kottakkal on Saturday (September 19).
Sacred Heart school scored 340 points to finish first. Peace Public School, Kottakkal, came second with 288 points, while Straightpath International School, Panakkad, secured third place with 275 points.
The festival was organised to develop scientific thinking and creative skills among students and introduce them to new developments in science and technology.
Sahodaya Malappuram region president M. Abdul Nazar distributed the prizes at the closing ceremony. General convener and Sacred Heart school Principal Sr. Ancilla George presided over the function.
Malappuram Sahodaya general secretary M. Jauhar distributed the individual trophies. Sahodaya office-bearers Nirmala Chandran, P. Nisar Khan, Shibili C.K.M., I.V. Rathi, Beena Chandrasekharan, S. Smitha, Sajna, and P. Deepa, Sacred Heart school science department head Anjana K. and Rose Mary spoke.
A science exhibition was also held as part of the festival.
