Karnataka Bank AGM approves seven resolutions

The 102nd annual general meeting (AGM) of Karnataka Bank, held on Tuesday approved all seven resolutions placed before it with requisite majority.

The shareholders approved the final dividend of ₹5 per equity share for 2025–26. The audited standalone and consolidated financial statements of the bank for Financial Year 2025–26, with the reports of the Directors and Auditors thereon, were also approved.

Other resolutions approved included re-appointment of B.R. Ashok as non-executive, non-independent director; appointment of Biji S.S. as executive director of the bank; appointment of M. Aruna Shyam and Parthasarathi Periaswamy as non-executive independent directors; and appointment of chartered accountants firm Batliboi & Purohit as joint statutory auditors of the bank.

The meeting was held in virtual mode from Mangaluru. Pradeep Kumar P., chairman of the bank, presided over it in the presence of Raghavendra S. Bhat, managing director and chief executive officer of the bank, a release said.
