The KSR Bengaluru-Karwar-KSR Bengaluru Panchaganga Express will run with five additional coaches till January-end.
A release from Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd., said Train No. 16595/596 was earlier augmented with two 3-tier AC economy, one sleeper and two general class coaches till October 2 and 3. Now the services would continue to run with augmented coaches till January 31 from Bengaluru-end and February 1 from Karwar-end, it said.

Meanwhile, the Southern Railway has decided to permanently augment two 3-tier AC coaches on Mangaluru Central-Rameswaram-Mangaluru Central Weekly Express from October first week.
Train No. 16622/16621Â presently has two 2-tier AC, six 3-tier AC, six sleeper class, four second class general and one each luggage-cum-brake van and generator car coaches, in all 20 coaches.
Under the revised composition, the train would have two 2-tier AC, eight 3-tier AC, six sleeper class, four second class general and one each luggage-cum-brake van and generator car coaches, in all 22 coaches.
The augmentation would be effective from October 3 ex Mangaluru Central and October 4, ex Rameswaram, said a release from Palakkad Division.
