A 28-year-old construction worker from Jharkhand died after he accidentally fell from the second floor of a house onto an electricity transformer near Padi on September 21.
He suffered an electric shock and multiple injuries in the fall.
According to the Korattur police, Sanjeev had consumed alcohol on the night of September 21.
He was allegedly standing near the staircase on the second floor when he lost his balance and fell onto a transformer nearby. He suffered an electric shock before falling to the ground.
He was rushed to a nearby private hospital, from where he was referred to the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital for further care. Sanjeev, who was undergoing intensive treatment, died at the hospital on Friday night.
