Minister for Fisheries A. Srinath, District Collector Vishu Mahajan and Superintendent of Police R. Shiva Prasad participated in the meeting.

Mr. Ramesh told reporters that arrangements being made in and around Kulasekarapattinam were being reviewed. The entry and exit points of the devotees, vehicle parking areas, temporary bus-stands, drinking water supply system, health stations to be created in and around the temple were inspected.

“Since a few lakh devotees will gather on Kulasekarapattinam beach to witness Soorasamhaaram on the night of October 20, the officials explained in detail the arrangements to be made there,” said Mr. Ramesh who had another round of review of arrangements at the District Collectorate.
