After a hike in ticket fare in June 2025 that left passengers reeling, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) on Tuesday (October 06, 2026) announced a reduction by up to 40% on its Pushpak AC buses operating to the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) on Hyderabad outskirts. The revised ticket prices will come into effect on October 7.
On services from Miyapur — the fare from Miyapur crossroads was reduced from ₹350 to ₹250, while the fare from JNTU was slashed from ₹350 to ₹200. The fare from Shilparamam was reduced from ₹300 to ₹200 and from ₹300 to ₹150 for the services from Gachibowli.
Similarly, the fares on Pushpak services from Lingampally to the airport were reduced. The fare from Lingampally was cut from ₹300 to ₹200, while the fare from Alwyn X Road was reduced from ₹350 to ₹200. The fare from Kondapur was reduced from ₹300 to ₹200, while passengers boarding at Kothaguda and Gachibowli will now pay ₹150, down from ₹300.
The fare last year saw an increase following internal deliberations at the TGSRTC, where officials raised concerns over stagnant pricing, and low occupancy as important issues that were affecting operational costs.
