Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr. NTRUHS) Vice-Chancellor P. Chandrasekhar, Registrar T. Sai Sudheer and Research and Development Director M.L. Surya Prabha called on Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer on Wednesday (October 7, 2026) and invited him to participate in the Ruby Jubilee celebrations of the university on October 26.
The Governor responded positively to the invitation and conveyed his consent to attend the celebrations, according to a release from the university.
During the meeting, the authorities briefed the Governor on the university’s 40-year journey, its progress in medical and health sciences education, initiatives aimed at strengthening academic standards, its emphasis on research and its contribution to the healthcare and health sciences sector.
