Visakhapatnam Divisional Railway Manager Lalit Bohra on Thursday carried out an on-site inspection of railway stations, residential colonies, and critical safety assets across Ichchapuram and Palasa stations in Srikakulam district.

The day-long inspection focused on evaluating passenger amenities, staff welfare facilities, infrastructure upkeep, and overall safety standards.

At Ichchapuram, the DRM examined the station premises and the adjoining railway colony, reviewing the quality of basic services available to commuters and resident railway families.

Moving to Palasa, Mr. Bohra extended his scrutiny to operational establishments. His itinerary covered an evaluation of the railway station, local railway colony, the Railway Hospital, RPF Barracks, the Running Room, and Level Crossing Gate No. 362.
