India has a significant opportunity to attract global technology investments and industrial establishments as the United States tightens manpower regulations, the Indo Gulf and Middle East Chamber of Commerce (INMECC) has said.
The changing international business environment presents India with an opportunity to position itself as a preferred destination for foreign investments and the establishment of fully equipped operational and technology centres, it said in a statement.
Urging the Central and State governments, along with private-sector stakeholders, to explore the emerging opportunity, the INMECC said it is actively engaged in facilitating investment opportunities in India.
“We must act strategically to attract international technology companies, industrial investments, and global operational centres,” N.M. Sharafudeen, chairman, INMECC, said.
