Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Ltd (MEIL), an Indian infrastructure company, said it has secured a $225.5 million (KWD 69.23 million) project from Kuwait Oil Company (KOC).
The project involves the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of a New Gas Sweetening and Sulphur Recovery Facility (NGSF) in the oil fields of West Kuwait.
It will be developed under a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) model, with an option for KOC to repurchase the facility at a later stage.
The facility is scheduled for completion within 790 days, followed by a five-year operation and maintenance phase managed by MEIL.
The processed gas will be dehydrated and transported to the Mina Ahmadi Refinery’s LPG plant via KOC’s pipeline network.
“This project reflects MEIL’s commitment to delivering world-class energy infrastructure that enhances environmental safety and operational efficiency,” said P. Doraiah, Director, MEIL.
