Sunny Deol announces new film ‘Gabru’; motion poster and release date out

Bollywood star Sunny Deol on Sunday (October 19) announced his upcoming film, Gabru, written and directed by Shashank Udapurkar. The film, set to hit the big screen on March 13, 2026, was announced on the occasion of Deol’s 68th birthday.

Deol shared the film’s motion poster on his social media handles to announce the news.

Called “a story of courage, conscience and compassion”, Gabru is produced by Om Chhangani and Vishal Rana. While plot details remain unknown, the makers have also announced that the film will have music composed by Mithoon and lyrics by Sayeed Quadri.

Notably, Deol was seen earlier this in the Gopichand Malineni-directed Jaat, co-starring Randeep Hooda.

Apart from Gabru, the actor will be seen next inBorder 2, a sequel to his 1997 film, which also stars Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh. He is also headlining Lahore 1947, which reunites Deol with Preity Zinta and director Rajkumar Santoshi.
