The Srivaikundam All Women Police have arrested a Roman Catholic priest for allegedly sexually harassing a teenager.
Police said priest Panneer Selvam, 69, of a church in the district, sexually harassed a 17-year-old girl when she was attending the keyboard coaching classes. After the girl informed her parents, they filed a complaint with the Srivaikundam All Women Police who arrested Panneer Selvam on Tuesday under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
