The Preventive Detention orders were issued by Commissioner of Police V. C. Sajjanar and executed by Malakpet ACP K. Subbarami Reddy under the supervision of South East Zone DCP S. Chaitanya Kumar, with support from the Malakpet police team.
In a separate case, the Preventive Detention Act was also invoked against Syed Abdul Basith, 23, a habitual offender involved in multiple instances of sexual assault on minors in the limits of Madannapet and Dabeerpura within a year. The orders were issued by the Commissioner and executed by the South East Zone team with assistance from Dabeerpura Police.
Police said both actions reflect the department’s continued focus on curbing habitual and violent offenders who pose a threat to public safety, particularly minors.
