A 15-year-old boy was electrocuted at his house at Uranganpatti near Melur here recently.
Police said, Rajan Mani, 15, studying in grade X, was speaking over phone on his house terrace when he accidentally touched an electric wire.
He was immediately electrocuted and thrown away.
Keezhavalavu police registered a case and sent the mortal remains to Melur Government Hospital.
