The Mylapore police in Chennai arrested two history-sheeters for the murder of a youth from Pattinapakkam on Monday (December 1, 2025).
City police said S. Azharuddin and A. Manikandan, who were residents of Mylapore, have several criminal cases including attempt to murder, pending in the Mylapore station limits. On Sunday, both Azharuddin and Manikandan murdered K. Susai of Pattinapakkam over a previous enmity by calling him for a drink near Madhavaperumalpuram Road of Mylapore.
The police produced the accused before a judicial magistrate and sent them to Puzhal prison.
