Andhra Pradesh State Commission for Scheduled Castes Secretary S. Chinna Ramudu’s daughter Madhuri Sahithi Bhai, 27, allegedly ended life at her parents’ home in Tadepalli on Sunday night. The police took up investigation based on a complaint from her father.
According to reports, Ms. Sahithi Bhai had an inter-caste love marriage with Rajesh Naidu of Bugganapalli Thanda in Bethamcharla mandal of Nandyala district recently, however differences developed between the couple. She soon moved out of her husband’s house and was living with her parents at Tadepalli.
Her parents alleged that she took the extreme step due to her husband’s harassment. On the other hand, her husband alleged that her parents were the reason behind her untimely demise.
Reacting to the development, Guntur Superintendent of Police Vakul Jindal told The Hindu that they registered a case and investigation is in progress and the post-mortem was completed and the body was handed over to the family members.
