A total of 28,278 nominations were received for the 4,332 Sarpanch posts notified for polls under the second phase of Telangana Gram Panchayat Elections-2025, and 93,595 for 38,342 Wards.Â
Of the total, 56% (15,799) nominations for the Sarpanch polls and 68%(63,556) of the nominations for Ward member posts were filed on Tuesday (December 2, 2025) — which was the last date to file for the second phase, as per information from Telangana State Election Commission (TGSEC). A similar pattern was observed for the first phase.
The second phase of the polls would be held from 7.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. on December 14, 2025 and vote counting would be taken up from 2.00 p.m. The results would be announced on the same day.
