Security measures in place for Pawan’s visit to Chittoor on December 4

The Chittoor district police made elaborate security arrangements ahead of Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan’s visit on Thursday (December 4) for the inauguration of Divisional Development Officer’s office here. The Deputy Chief Minister is scheduled to arrive at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday after landing at the Tirupati airport. He will then virtually launch the DDOs across the State from here.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Tushar Dudi inspected the bandobast arrangements on Wednesday and reviewed deployment plans with senior police officers. Speaking to the media, the SP said that additional police forces will be posted at busy junctions, the event venue and parking areas. He said that traffic diversions had already been announced at all the arterial junctions.
