
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Wednesday to invite him for the Telangana Rising Global Summit-2047 which will be held in Hyderabad on December 8 and 9.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy formally invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the prestigious Telangana Rising Global Summit-2047 to be held on December 8 and 9 at the Bharat Future City in Hyderabad. He also submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister requesting adequate funding for the development projects being undertaken as part of the Telangana Rising Vision and approval for all the pending projects.
Mr. Reddy, along with Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, on Wednesday met the Prime Minister in Parliament and extended the invitation for the summit.
The Chief Minister said the Telangana government is attempting to attract global investments and display its vision to bolster the State economy by strengthening each sector.
Informing the Prime Minister that the State government has set a target of achieving a $3 trillion economy by 2047, in line with the goals set under Viksit Bharat 2047, Mr. Reddy said the State government had prepared the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision document to analyse growth goals and future plans for all sectors. He added that the vision document will be unveiled at the summit.
The Chief Minister brought to the Prime Minister’s attention the pending approval of the second phase of the Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) project, stating that proposals for the expansion of the total length of 162.5 km had already been submitted to the Centre. He appealed to the PM to approve the project, which is estimated to cost ₹43,848 crore.
The Chief Minister also urged approval of the northern part of the Hyderabad Regional Ring Road (RRR) and requested financial approval for the construction of the southern part.
The proposed Regional Ring Rail project along the RRR was also discussed during the meeting.
The Centre’s assistance for the construction of a 12-lane Greenfield Expressway from Hyderabad to Bandar Port via Amaravati and a Greenfield Expressway to develop the Hyderabad-Bangalore high-speed corridor was also mentioned in a memorandum submitted to the Prime Minister.
The proposals for the construction of a four-lane elevated corridor from Mannanur to Srisailam via the Tiger Reserve to ensure uninterrupted transport facilities from Hyderabad to the Srisailam shrine were also among the topics discussed.
