South Central Railway (SCR) has announced that the OTP-based Tatkal booking has been introduced for 13 trains where passengers booking Tatkal tickets will now be required to enter a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to the Aadhaar-linked mobile number during the booking process.
Trains are — No. 12026 Hyderabad–Pune Shatabdi Express. 12220 Secunderabad–Mumbai LTT Duronto Express, 12285 Secunderabad–H. Nizamuddin Duronto Express, 12437 Secunderabad–H. Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express, 20102 Secunderabad–Nagpur Vande Bharat Express, 20678 Vijayawada–MGR Chennai Central Vande Bharat Express, 20701 Secunderabad–Tirupati Vande Bharat Express, 20702 Tirupati–Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express.
Train No. 20703 Kacheguda–Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express, 20707 Secunderabad–Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express, 20834 Secunderabad–Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express and 22204 Secunderabad–Visakhapatnam Duronto Express and 20705 H.S Nanded–Mumbai CSMT Vande Bharat Express.
Revised Schedule
The Railway Board has also approved the change in days of operation for Secunderabad–Visakhapatnam–Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express train services: Train No.20707 Secunderabad–Visakhapatnam and Train No. 20708 Visakhapatnam–Secunderabad will be running on all days except Mondays instead of Thursdays from December 5. The halts, timings and frequency of the above trains will remain unchanged.
Sabarimala specials
Six special trains are proposed to be run between Charlapalli and Kollam — Train No. 07135 Cherlapalli-Kollam on January 14 and 21 and in the return direction Train No. 07136 Kollam-Cherlapalli on January 16 and 23. Another service is Train No. 07133 Nanded–Kollam and Train No. 07134 Kollam–Nanded.
These are in addition to the special trains already announced to facilitate the pilgrimage: Train No. 07125 Narsapur–Kollam on December 27, 07127 Charlapalli–Kollam onn January 10 and 17, 07126 Kollam–Charlapalli on December 29 and 07128 Kollam-Charlapalli on January 12 and January 19, said a press release.
