People in the district can seek free legal help through WhatsApp now. They do not have to make any formal application using pen and paper.
District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) has launched a unique project named Sahaya Hastham, which will facilitate the people to WhatsApp complaints related to criminal, civil, familial and financial issues to 9188127501. The complaints should have the complete details of the complainant as well as the respondent and their phone numbers.
The DLSA will handle the complaints through a hearing to be held at its office functioning at Manjeri Court Complex.
