The State-run Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, an autonomous cardiac specialty centre, has successfully received National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) accreditation for the fourth consecutive cycle, reaffirming its adherence to stringent standards in patient safety, clinical quality and hospital management.
“Since 2015, continuous NABH accreditation has positioned Jayadeva as one of India’s premier cardiac institutes. This recognition reflects the dedication of our medical and support teams in delivering world-class cardiac care at affordable costs,” said B. Dinesh, institute director.
A seven-member expert team from the Quality Council of India (QCI) conducted the assessment in July. The comprehensive evaluation covered governance, patient rights and safety, infection control, clinical services, and infrastructure standards, all of which the institute successfully met.
Despite the increasing patient load- with over 1,800 outpatient visits daily- Jayadeva continues to offer highly subsidised treatment. Facilities range from general to deluxe wards, ensuring accessibility for patients across all socio-economic backgrounds.
