Passengers scheduled to travel to Coimbatore and leave for various destinations were affected after IndiGo cancelled seven arrivals and as many departures on December 5, 2025 (Friday).
Coimbatore International Airport authorities said the flights were cancelled due to operational requirements.
Flights 6194/981, 782/6918, 804/848, 731/6315, 927/6011, 731/6315 (Chennai – Coimbatore – Chennai), 317/318, 938/6593, 6646/764, 6232/6231 (Hyderabad – Coimbatore – Hyderabad), 2265/2273, 2274/5249 (Mumbai – Coimbatore – Mumbai), 2002/671, 2275/2276 (Delhi – Coimbatore – Delhi, (Chennai – Coimbatore – Pune) and 6594/692 (Hyderabad – Coimbatore – Chennai) were cancelled on Friday as per a list shared by the airport authorities.
Passengers, who had reserved tickets for these flights, had to look for alternative travel arrangements due to the cancellation.
On Thursday, flights 6194/981, 479/6797, 927/6011 (Chennai – Coimbatore – Chennai), 6232/6231 (Hyderabad – Coimbatore – Hyderabad), 317/318 (Bengaluru – Coimbatore – Bengaluru) and 2265/2273 (Mumbai – Coimbatore – Mumbai) were cancelled, according to airport authorities.
There were delays in the operation of IndiGo flights on Wednesday and Tuesday night.
